L'Oréal is one of only two companies in the world that has received the highest score, an ‘A’, in all three CDP rankings for climate change, sustainable water management, and combating deforestation. It shares its commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of its plants and distribution centres by 60% between 2005 and 2020 with all its partners, including Samsic Iberia.

Present at the world’s first “dry factory” at L'Oréal, and at the company’s logistics centre in Burgos, Samsic Iberia’s cleaning teams work every day to guarantee a clean environment, to contribute to the well-being of its occupants and to respect the environment.

For several months now, Samsic Iberia has trained and motivated its teams, for example in the use of environmentally-friendly products and in reducing water consumption by 70% in comparison with previous processes. With the introduction of ec-H20 NanoClean™ technology, by its partner Tennant, central to its cleaning processes, Samsic Iberia helps to reduce environmental impact: it is now possible to electrically convert water into an innovative and beneficial cleaning solution for our planet.

Samsic Iberia does not stop there when it comes to reducing carbon footprint, and has also developed My Samsic, a smart platform linked to the customer’s environment to monitor services in real time, and to go fully paperless in its customer relationships.

Benoit Mocquant, Director of the Burgos production plant, discusses this commitment to sustainable development:

“I am very happy to work with a company like Samsic that shares the same values as L’Oréal. Samsic demonstrates its values beautifully, communicating them to its customers and setting increasingly ambitious sustainable development objectives. Since its arrival, Samsic has been able to drive far-reaching changes and demonstrate it mastery of the fundamentals of a cleaning service: quality in management of its field staff, a sense of service, innovation to reduce environmental impact, but also social inclusion initiatives..... We have built a relationship of trust, and we have reached the stage of being able to develop increasingly ambitious CSR initiatives, undoubtedly bolstering our partnership in a sustainable way.
